The buildings of the former landfill site have been demolished and the ground ameliorated so that new residential buildings can be constructed on it. The wasteland is laying bare in an intermediary state between toxic incineration and a sheltered, personal space with the opposite societal status.
The architecture of the landfill has been destroyed and cleared away but the fundamental architectural elements remain: circle, square and triangle. Maybe not visually but conceptually in the continuum of architecture. Throughout its history these basic shapes have always been present, although in modifications to suit different intentions and expressions.
The intermediary vacuum of the site gives space and time to construct these fundamental architectural elements in the most authentic way without any function or intention attached to them. They only stand in direct relation to the person drawing and building them.
